We Care Computers (WCC) is the recipient of the Avon Chamber of Commerce's 2010 "Small Business of the Year" award. The family-owned and operated full-service computer IT Company was founded in 2004 by Avi Smith-Rapaport. Tahl Smith-Rapaport, Avi's brother, joined as the IT Director in 2007. The company provides on-site computer support to businesses and residents throughout Connecticut and western Massachusetts. The firm offers exceptional customer service and skilled professionals who are trained to listen and respond to customers every need.
WCC is an authorized dealer of computers and accessories and sells all major brands. It provides a variety of services including trouble shooting, desktop support, technical service, software installation, systems integration, training, network security, infrastructure management, project management, data backup, computer repair and server support services.
WCC works with businesses in a variety of industries including medical, legal, manufacturing, bio-tech, pharmaceutical, communications, construction, property management, financial, information technology, non-profit and retail. Technicians are trained to install the latest and most efficient business software for medical practices, accountant offices, law firms, financial services companies and construction companies, to name a few.
The company is a member of Hartford-area chambers of commerce, the Hartford Metro Alliance and the Connecticut Better Business Bureau. An active member of the community, WCC sponsors local non-profit events and fundraisers for organizations including FoodShare and Susan G. Komen Race for the Cure, and supports West Hartford youth baseball and softball teams.
