Eliminate Email Spam

Spam is not just an annoyance, it is a major security threat. Spam may contain:

• Viruses
• Fraudulent, illegal, or indecent messages
• Links to web sites that distribute spyware
• "Phishing" attacks, where users are lured to phony web sites for the purpose of identity theft.

Blocking spam is an excellent way to improve your overall computing enjoyment. With the right software and training, you can virtually eliminate spam.

Most internet service providers offer some form of spam protection, but their anti-spam service is usually basic, and may be difficult to adjust to individual users. Full-featured spam filters with user controllable settings provide the best results.

If you are already using an email program, such as Outlook, we recommend using an add-on spam filter, such as I Hate Spam.
